The Owner-Occupied Repair Program (OORP) assists low and moderate income and/or senior homeowners in obtaining funding to do the needed exterior repairs on their homes. This is done either through low-interest, unsecured loans from National Penn Bank and/or a grant for those who need additional assistance or do not qualify for a loan.

Homeowners are referred to the program through churches, community agencies and friends.  The URDC Housing Coordinator meets with the homeowner to assess the work that needs to be done and reviews the homeowner's finances.  A contractor who has been pre-approved by URDC provides an estimate of the work and, if the funding is secured, completes the work in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the homeowner.

Anyone can refer candidates to the Owner-Occupied Repair Program.  To schedule an initial homeowner interview, contact the URDC office at 267-664-3538 or complete the form below.  If completing the form, please use the subject line "Repair Program" and include the name, address, and phone number of the homeowner(s), a brief description of the type of repair needed, and any relevant background information you would like to offer.
